Des Moines, IA: Despite constant rain and cold conditions Suzy Powell bested a World Class field including Olympic Champion Stephanie Trafton Brown.  In her efforts she tied the meet record with her winning throw of 194' 1" (59.15m).  Other highlights include first place finishes for Erica McClain,TJ (13.67),  second place finishes for Jeremy Scott, PV (5.62), Kristin Heaston, SP, 17.55m. After capturing the 2nd annual Drake Relays Jordan Creek Mall Vault with a 18'4 1/2" effort, Mark Hollis improved his season best to 18'5 (5.62m) in the Saturday competition to finish third.
